Goodies Box October 2013 Review and Farewell!

My fiance has been receiving GoodiesCo boxes for the past 3 or 4 months now, however he's always digging into them and eating them before I can take picture for a review! We have had a few ups and downs with this company (that is owned by Walmart Labs) in regards to quality of their boxes and did eventually cancel. These were our last boxes for October, and we also received a kids box to try out as well.

Only a few days before these boxes arrived, I learned that Goodies Box would no longer continue once everyone received their October boxes. I had already canceled at this point, however, I will say it's a shame. The kids October box was one of the best food boxes we've received and it's a real shame that they won't be available anymore. It was hard to beat $7 a month!

Let's take a look at the Taster's Box First:

This isn't their BEST box to date, but it is leaps and bounds better than last month. My only issue was that the pizza dough was leaking out of the corners of the paper bag and floury powder got all over the other products.

What was included:

-Easy Make Pizza Dough Mix
-Cafe De Vita Enchanted Chai Drink Mix
-Happy Squeeze Razzleberry Greek Yogurt
-Choco-pie Fluffy Marshmallow and Chocolate Biscuit
-Enjoy Life Chocolate Sunbutter Bar
-Special K Nourish Cranberry Almond Oatmeal
-Guylian Hazelnut Belgian Chocolates
-Coffee Thins Chocolates

And now, for the Kids box! (We don't have kids but we definitely love candy and snacks of all kinds!)

WOW, right? We were so impressed with the wide variety of items in this box, and even more excited that everything looked interesting and tasty! Here's a list of what was inside:

- GudFud Jelly Stuff Marshmallows
- Happy Squeeze Fruit and Veggie Twist Apple Mango Pear Kale
- Natures Bakery Fig bar in Apple Cinnamon
- Warheads Sour Twists
- RockinOla Choco Berry Granola
- Warheads Sour Chewy Cubes
- Pretzel Crisps
- Lunchables Jr. Teddy Bear Picnic (Peanut Butter, Dried Apples, Teddy Grahams)
- Sneaky Pete's Oat Beverage in Mango
- Orbit for Kids Strawberry Banana

I think both boxes for October were well worth the $7, and it's a shame that GoodiesCo is no longer continuing. I think that they had a few missteps, and that included the few boxes that had very little in them, and not introducing the kids box sooner. I think that the Kids box is very unique and would most likely be their biggest sell if they decide to come back in the future with a new plan. Overall, we had fun being members of GoodiesCo and we'll definitely miss it!
