Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint Review!

My next Rimmel mini-review is going to be for one of their new Cheek Tints! These little guys just came out in the US recently, and retail for about $2.99. There are (I believe) 5 shades available, and I was lucky enough to be sent the lovely shade, "Apricot Glow." (#005)

Here's Rimmel's claims:

"Perfect for any occasion: the blush blends instantly and seamlessly to create a long lasting, natural-looking flush of colour that lasts up to 24 hours.
Ultra lightweight, won’t feel heavy.
Lasts all day."

These tubes are .47 oz, and are about the size of a large lip gloss. The shades range from pinks to berrys, to cherries, and finally the coral-y apricot shade that I have here. The tubes are squeezable, and it's quite easy to control the amount of product coming out due to the small opening:

These are called, "liquid cheek tints" but don't be concerned that they are literal liquid. These come out feeling more like a light cream consistency, similar to the Rimmel Matte Mousse foundation.  It feels very light and airy and has a beautiful color-payoff.

Here's a quick swatch of "Apricot Glow" on the back of my hand. I didn't blend it out, because I think it's more of a light flush of color once blended on the cheeks.  This color would be beautiful on deep skin tones as well as pale skin tones like myself. I applied a very small amount and blended it out and upward along my cheek and added a bit more as needed until I got the color payoff I wanted. It gives a very natural glow to the cheeks and is a beautiful peach color!

I would definitely recommend stopping by your local drugstore and picking up a couple of these! They're only a few dollars and apply like a much more expensive cream blush. It's an excellent formula and there's a great variety of shades!
