Amarte Wonder Cream Review

Before I start this review, I've got to say how happy I am to finally live in an apartment that gets a lot of natural light! I edited these photos (along with a few others) before I moved, and it's amazing how much better my photos look now in natural light!
Now that I got that off my chest, I've got a really amazing skincare product to share with you all! Amarte Wonder Cream!

I have a pretty obvious addiction to Korean skincare products. I had heard a bit about Amarte, but I had never had the chance to try their products. Recently, a friend of mine had told me wonderful things about the Amarte Wonder Cream, so I was thrilled to finally get to try it!

About the Brand
Amarte was created in Korea and based in part on centuries old philosophies. Developed at a Bio Regional Innovation Center using leading science, the formula was discovered by American dermatologist, Dr. Kraffert, and introduced to the West.
 Product Description
One of the most highly regarded products of the Amarte line, Wonder Cream® aids in anti-aging and restoration, lightens sunspots and exfoliates and nourishes skin for a supple, translucent complexion. The unique formulation of nano-encapsulated retinol, mushroom emollient and microscopic, multitasking elemental sulfur restores a supple, uniform appearance, enhances immunity without irritation and calms and brightens skin. With pearl powder and caviar extract, skin is left with a delicate sheen and full of vitamins and minerals.
I'm entering my 30's, so it's important to me to find skincare products that are not only anti-aging, but are also sensitive towards my acne-prone skin. It's very difficult to find skincare that works for me in the long run.

Wonder Cream comes in a 2.7oz bottle with a pump-top. I prefer this much more to the typical jars as I really dislike dipping my fingers or a spatula into my creams due to sanitary concerns. This way, bacteria doesn't get into the container and get my fancy cream all nasty! More importantly, the cream is packaged this way because it contains retinol. Retinol can break down over time when exposed to air and light.

I have been using Wonder Cream for about 3 weeks. I find that it has a light consistency that absorbs well into my skin without feeling greasy. I apply to my skin before bed  at the end of my normal skincare routine, in place of my usual moisturizer. I would suggest not using this product during your daytime skincare routine, as the sun and retinol don't mix very well!

The Results
Like most people, as nice as some skincare products feel at the time of use, most of the time there is no visible difference in my skin. Since I started using Wonder Cream, I feel like I can genuinely see an overall improvement in my skin. Immediately after use, my skin feels moisturized, supple and brightened. Long term results have been even better!
Wonder Cream hasn't upset my acne-prone skin in any way. As a matter of fact, I feel that my acne is significantly diminished. I am using this cream as part of my aging-prevention routine, so I cannot speak on whether or not it reduces or removes wrinkles, however I do think it's been working on the fine lines around my eyes. I have found my skin to be rejuvenated, more even-toned, and healthier overall since I started using Wonder Cream.

I am truly thrilled with the results of the Amarte Wonder Cream. It truly is very gentle on my skin, yet noticeably effective. I can't wait to see what the long-term results will be with this cream.

    1. You're welcome!! It's on the expensive side, but from what I have experienced and from what I have heard other people saying it really is worth the price. I rarely find products that truly work for me, so this is a home run for me!
