Memebox My Cute Wishlist

I have been WAITING for this Memebox to arrive on my doorstep for what feels like an eternity! While most people get in Korean beauty because of all the amazing skincare products, I was immediately attracted to all the adorable packaging! I have a big thing for packaging. A product could be the best thing in the world, but if it's ugly-looking, I probably won't buy it. It's a curse, I know. But at least all the things I own are super pretty/cute!

With that little tidbit of knowledge under your belt, you can imagine how ridiculously giddy with excitement I was when I saw a box for sale on the Memebox website called "My Cute Wishlist." I bought it before I could even function (I hadn't even had coffee yet, whaatttt) and also bought up the My Cute Wishlist #2 before even seeing the first one. I like cute things you guys, what can I say?

(product info card tells you more information and how to use each product!)
If you're new to Memebox, they are a website that sells Korean beauty products, but their most popular items are of course, the Memeboxes. These boxes are full of deluxe samples and full size Korean beauty products and are delivered to you all the way from Korea. Memebox has been kind enough to create a FAQs page that you can view HERE if you want more info on the boxes, as there are many to choose from!

This particular box is one of their themed Superboxes, which are boxes curated around a specific theme, that contain all full size products.
The My Cute Wishlist box cost $23 plus $6.99 shipping.

Let's get right into the cuteness, shall we?

1. Pure Smile: Neco Punch Point Pads in "Hibiscus" and "Lemongrass"
(Full Size Product: $2 ea.)
So this is the 3rd time in a month that I've received point pads from Memebox. I got a whole container in the Mask #4 box, two packs in the Vitamin Care box, and now 2 in this one. Even so, these ones are so. ridiculously. cute. I'm a crazy cat lady, so anything with a paw-print on it is an instant winner for me!
These "point pads" are basically loaded with essence that contains vitamin E, collagen, hyaluronic acid, arbutin, and hibiscus/lemongrass extracts. They moisturize, but also control excess oil production at the same time so they keep your skin balanced. You basically place these on any part of your skin that needs a little extra love for about 10 minutes or so. After the time has passed, take them off and pat in the excess essence. Good stuff!

 2. Pure Smile: Muddy Girl Mud Pack
(Full Size Product: $1)
Pure Smile is in pretty much every single Memebox lately, but because this little mask is so cute, I can totally forgive them. For now! There was a random choice between a red clay mask and a charcoal mask, and I received red clay. I'm actually pretty happy about that because I have a butt-ton of charcoal masks! This is "full size" according to Memebox, but it's essentially a 1-time-use pack. It's a wash-off mud mask that helps soothe, purify and moisturize the skin. Like most masks, you apply it to the skin and let dry for 10-15 minutes and wash off with warm water.

3. Beauty People: Snow White Special Edition Eyeliners
(Full Size Product: $54)
Uhm, so If you heard a loud, pterodactyl-like screech at some point this morning, it was probably me when I saw these in the box. I was SO excited because I find all these Korean eyeliners sets to be so stinkin' cute! I especially love this kit because all the liners are very wearable shades. To make it even more awesome, they're waterproof and smudge proof. I tested the swatches on my hands today and they were not budging! The swatches above are one quick swipe of the pencils, so they are incredibly pigmented and go on very smoothly. This set is a hit for me! Also, Memebox didn't mention it on the card, but they included a little pink pencil sharpener, which I thought was a nice extra!

4. a;t fox: Moisturizing Gel Cream Gyoolpy Tea (yellow)
Lifting Cream Black Tea (pink)
Whitening Capsule Cream Jasoyup Herb Tea (purple)
(Full Size Product: $6 ea.)
OK Memebox. Just kill me with the cuteness already! I've been eyeing these cupcakes in the Memebox shop for a long time now, and I was praying to every God I could think of that they would be included in this box. My prayers were answered when I saw not one, but ALL THREE! Granted, even though Memebox calls these "full size" and they probably are, there are larger versions of these creams on the Memebox website. The cupcakes themselves are larger and more detailed (sprinkles, guys. They have sprinkles) and there's obviously more product in them. Even so, I'm very happy to be able to try all 3 creams so I can choose the one I like the most and buy the full size eventually!
Whitening Capsule Cream (Purple)- This cream combines a whitening essence and a moisturizer in one. Yay for that, because I LIVE for whitening/brightening products. My pale skin tends to get red around my t-zone and these kinds of products work wonders!
Lifting Cream (Pink)- This cream has a "soft melting texture" and it helps lift and firm bags under the eyes and fine lines. Sign me up!
Moisturizing Gel Cream (Yellow)- This cream is a gel-based cream that is loaded with vitamin-c to help moisturize and brighten the skin.

 5. Etude House: "Missing U" Hand Cream
(Full Size Product: $5)
If you haven't already passed out from the cuteness, here's a fat Seal that has a hand cream conSEALed (sorry I had to) inside. It's enriched with olive oil and shea butter. The seal happens to be a green tea scented lotion, but to me it has more of a light, fresh floral scent going on. There are 3 other kinds that I could have received: Panda, Dolphin or Penguin. Out of all the different choices, I'm glad I got this one, because omg...look at his little flippers!

(accurate gif of me staring at the seal lotion)

 6. Kocostar: Split End Therapy
(Full Size Product: $6)
This product is supposed to help with hair breakage and helps repair split ends while protecting from future damage. At first glance, I was trying to figure out why this was considered "cute" enough to be in this box, and then I flipped over the package and saw the hair tie. Adorbs! This product is actually pretty interesting: You start by putting your hair into a ponytail. Inside the packet is a little hair "wrap" that you slide your hair into and hold it in place by wrapping an elastic band around it (included). Then the pointless but adorable next step: double-fastening the seal on the hair wrap with the cute hair ribbon included. After this is all done, you massage your hair with your hand while it's inside the wrap. After 15 minutes, you can remove and comb through your hair. No need to rinse!

 7. Etude House: Sweet Recipe Candy Stick in "Seedless Strawberry Candy"
(Full Size Product: $5)
I couldn't be more thrilled with the fact that I got the strawberry scent, because oh lawd, does it smell delish! The other options were Lemon and Orange, but this one is much more up my alley. Not to mention, I love the pretty pink tint that this gives off! These gloss-like balm tints moisturize and plump up dry lips, and smell like delicious candy treats! Oh and they look like little baby candy canes, which is just an added bonus of awesomeness!

Overall Thoughts
This box was $30 shipped, and contained $93 worth of product.
The value is great, but even if it was much less than that, this box was a HUGE hit for me. There was a great mix of cosmetics and skincare products, and every item was amazingly cute! I usually have at least one gripe about a box, but overall this is definitely in my top 5 favorite Memeboxes ever! If you loved this box, keep an eye out for a possible My Cute Wishlist #3! It's bound to happen! I think Korea has enough cute cosmetics to keep these boxes going for a long time!

  1. Hahaha flippers! I just got this box too and I'm seriously dying. So. Freaking. Cute. And I can deal with a PureSmile mask here and there ... just maybe not a box comprised mostly of PureSmile.

    1. eeeep the flippers!! :3 so cute! Seriously I cannot wait for the My Cute Wishlist #2. I have no idea if they could top this one, though. So much awesome! And I agree, I actually liked the Pure Smile sheet masks I've gotten a few times, and they're not a bad company or anything, but they've been in almost every box lately! I'm pretty sure there was a box (vitamin care, possibly?) where more than half the products were Pure Smile! LOL

  2. Ugh I'm kicking myself for not getting this one! I know there's a third one up right now and I REALLY wanna get it but I just want the eyeliners and the cupcakes from this one LOL...I don't know if I should risk it. >....<

  3. I absolutely LOVE Memeboxes.... A great value and no need to pay monthly.
