Kloverbox December 2014 Review and Unboxing

Many people (myself included) say that you need to get a subscription for about 3 months to decide whether or not it's a good value and fit for you. Prior to this December Kloverbox, I had received my 3 months worth of boxes, and I knew it was love after the first one! Sometimes new subscription boxes take a while to get off the ground, have issues with shipping, or lack of quality product while they establish themselves. Kloverbox on the other hand has only excelled. They have been swelling in popularity lately, due to the fact that they're one of the few organic/natural subscriptions that are bringing their professionalism, fast shipping, and quality products to their subscribers.

What is Kloverbox?
Kloverbox is a lifestyle subscription box that sends 4-8 natural and organic products  for you to fall in love with each month. This isn't a beauty subscription. Kloverbox sends products from all categories: beauty, health, food and home products, so you can incorporate more natural products into every aspect of your life!

How Does It Work?
Unlike a typical subscription box, Kloverbox does NOT automatically renew. (note from Kelly at Kloverbox: We are in the process of building a new website, and Kloverbox will be a renewing subscription very soon! ) So if you're one of those people (like me!) who prefers their subscriptions to automatically renew so you never miss a box, they're working on it! On the Kloverbox site, you can choose a 1, 3 or 6 month subscription. For now, once that subscription is over, you will not be billed again unless you're interested in picking up more boxes! The longer the subscription you choose, the more of a discount you get, which is also awesome!

Another really great thing about Kloverbox is that they usually include a coupon code on the information card for each product for that month. So if you really fall in love with something from your box, you'll be able to get more at a fantastic discount.

How Much?
A 1 month subscription to Kloverbox is $25
3 month subscription is $71.25 ($23.75 per box)
6 month subscription is $135 ($22.50) per box.
Shipping is free and fast!

Let's see what I received in my December Box!
Another simple and lovely packaging job! I really love the hand-written thank you note attached each month. It feels so personal!

Grain Bath & Home: Room Spray in "Cinnamon, Clove and Orange" ($7)
Right off the bat- this is my favorite product in the box! I absolutely love home scents- candles, room sprays, wax melts...anything that makes my home smell warm and cozy! This mist is amazing in that it only contains, water, witch hazel, epsom salt and organic essential oils. It smells so ridiculously good that there's no way I could possibly do it justice in words alone. It smells like my grandmother's kitchen when she would make homemade apple cider on the stove. It's delicious, comforting and perfect for the season. What amazes me is that this bottle is only $7 retail! I love the amber glass bottle and the rustic labeling. It would really make a beautiful addition to a gift!

Grace Green Beauty: Body Food ($34)
This is a head-to-toe anti-aging body salve of sorts. It's hand crafted in small batches and made from all organic ingredients such as shea butter, olive, coconut and jojoba, grapeseed, and sweet almond oil. It also contains a small amount of patchouli oil which seems to be the scent of this product, however, it's incredibly mild and most likely wouldn't bother someone who wasn't a fan of the scent.
This balm came with a small wooden dowel to mix the product so it's easier to use, and use it I will! This stuff has over 100 uses!
Some of the suggestions on the jar include:
hydrating, sunburn, skincare, textured hair, lip balm, tattoo care, stretch marks, aftershave balm, scar care, cuticle care, makeup removal, elbow and knee moisturizer, under-eye care.
I absolutely love multi-use products as I hate clutter, so this is going right on my vanity and I'm determined to try this out as many ways as I can!

Ellison's Organics: 5-Free Crystal Clear Top Coat ($6)
I can't tell you how difficult it is to find a 5-Free top coat. I know they exist, but I have yet to find one that is easily accessible, affordable, and works well. This is a professional-grade top coat that won't yellow or cause shrinkage with glitter polishes. It's recommended to use 1-2 coats for a shiny, chip-free finish. I had to paint my nails a few days before Christmas, as I was going to be so busy I didn't think I'd have the time. I have an issue with my polish chipping almost as soon as I paint it on, so I thought it would be a good test to try this top coat on my holiday manicure. Not only did it last the 3 days before Christmas, but it's now the day after and my polish still looks fantastic. This is probably going to become a holy grail product for me!

Befine Food Skin Care: Lip Serum ($18)
Speaking of Holy Grail products- meet one of my all-time favorite lip treatments! I have used an enjoyed Befine products for years, but one of their all-star products is definitely this lip serum. This lip treatment uses peptides to help firm and plump the lips while chamomile smooths and softens. It can be used on the lips and any area surrounding the lips that is dry and dehydrated. It has no scent that I have been able to detect, and no weird flavors of any kind. It's thin, clear, non-sticky and easy to apply, and really does wonders for my chapped lips. It feels comfortable on the lips too, which is difficult to find in a lip treatment. It can be applied as many times through the day as you'd like, and since I'm addicted to this stuff, I apply it a LOT. I have had amazing results with this, but have always been hesitant to spend the $18. Now- not only do I have a full size tube thanks to Kloverbox, but they included a coupon to save 20% off a purchase at befine.com so I can stock up and save! (psst- it's KlovBox if you're interested!)

Overall Thoughts
This box on it's own costs $25 per month, and the December box has a total retail value of  $66!
I love that we received 4 full size products this time, and I absolutely love each one! This was such a great December box- the body food and lip serum are amazing for hydrating dry winter skin, the top coat is perfect for all the festive holiday mani's, and the room spray is not only amazing, but perfectly scented for the season!
I know when I get a Kloverbox in the mail that I will not be disappointed, and that's a great feeling to have as a subscription box lover. As most of you know, we're all so used to being disappointed or let down by sub box companies! I love that Kloverbox has really proven themselves in this market, especially putting themselves at the top of the pack of organic/natural subscriptions, in my humble opinion! I am incredibly excited to see how Kloverbox continues to grow in 2015, and I hope you jump in on the action! This is definitely one to subscribe to!

GET JANUARY'S BOX
You MUST Subscribe to Kloverbox before December 31st if you want to secure yourself a January box. Any subscribers who sign up after that date will received February's box. The boxes are very limited and I have seen them sell out month-after-month, so don't wait if you're thinking about it!
